Maddox will be the X car in the B main for sr Honda.
Unfortunately he is done in light world after a couple unfortunate events. But he drove a clean race despite it and was 1 spot away from being the X car..
We just need a bit more luck on our side!🤞🏼

Maddox made it out of the D mains in both cars!

Sr Honda D main he started P3 finished P2. He will start P8 in the C main.

Light WF D main he started P3 finished P1🏁. He will start P7 in the C main.

He is running in all 4 senior classes and completed all heat races today.

Sr Honda and Lt WF will both be in D mains tomorrow so he has some work to do in those cars to hopefully lock a spot into the A.

Lower main soup tomorrow!
Sr Honda and Sr animal will be in the B main.
Lt160 and Lt World are in the C main.

Gearing issue in the 160 definitely hurt us in the heat.
Honda and Animal were looking really good and we almost got a win in Animal but didn’t quite get it at the line. But it was a great race!

Lt world we are struggling a bit with driver and set up but he is still learning this car so we just want to see improvement.

TQMA Banquet 2025

Maddox’s goal at the beginning of the year was to win the championships in Sr Honda and Sr Animal.
He did just that! 👊🏼
Light world we succumbed to a lot of mechanical failures that didn’t allow us to even take the feature or not finish the feature so that class was deemed experience and seat time. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think out of 8 races we were only able to finish about 4… So not a great average. But happy that we have since buffed out all the kinks! 🤣

HE DID IT!!
Maddox won the 100 lap feature race at Topeka Quarter Midget Association!! We are so proud of him and his determination. With about 30 or so to go Maddox tried to follow P2 for a pass on P1 and unfortunately ended up being DOT when P2 didn’t see Maddox on the inside (totally a racing incident but thankfully Maddox had the speed and the time he needed!) 😬
After the green flag waved he started picking off the back 6 in about 10 laps and finally was closing the gap when he caught P1 and P2, he passed them both but a caution came out reverting to the last lap restarting Maddox in P2. He didn’t waste any time and took the pass to go on to pass more lapped cars and putting about a half a track between him and 2nd taking his Bolted Spine Designs Senior Honda to VICTORY LANE!!

Maddox did great yesterday at the Pumpkin shootout at Topeka Quarter Midget Association!
He was able to put all 4 cars on the podium!🤩

Heat Results:
Sr Animal P2- DNF (bird cage malfunction)😒

Light 160& Sr Honda were definitely the best races to watch! Maddox and P1 (Reese Goede) put on a battle for the lead a few times and raced each other clean. Definitely making the parents clinch at times but it was fun to watch!

Light World Maddox had a great start and was able to keep the lead for all 40 laps! His confidence has grown in this car so much over the last few races.

Sr animal we just need to order a new birdcage and hopefully that solves the issue. This car has been our struggle car the past few races.

Today is the 100 lap race and top 6 of sr Honda and light 160 locked in to the A today. But we can only run 1 class per the rules so we will have to pick which one we are running!

Last weekend Maddox competed in the Topeka Quarter Midget Association NASCAR Youth Series national event.
With mom being in the tower scoring that didn’t allow her much time to work the page!

With Maddox not running any nationals all year except for Vegas at the beginning of this year we told him to go out and do his best. We were hoping to get a couple if not 1 car in the A mains!

Results of the races are as follows.
Sr Honda heat P4-P4 putting us in a C main

Sr Animal heat P4-P7 Unfortunately Maddox wasn’t able to take the track due to a loose gear part and once it was fixed our work laps were completed. So that put us P9 in the C main.

Light 160 heat P2-P1. Maddox had a great start and led the whole race getting a heat race win. And locking it straight into the A main!🏁

Light World Formula heat P5-P5. This was the biggest field Maddox has raced his world in and we were glad he was able to not lose any positions. This put us P2 in the C main.

Sr Honda C main Maddox was able to transfer but unfortunately came up short in the B main!

Sr animal Maddox was able to transfer from the C to the B but came up a bit short to make it to the A.

Light world formula Maddox flipped in the C main out of turn 2 but was able to go on and TRANSFER to the B!! This was a huge confidence boost for him since he hasn’t raced this many cars before and had to make a lot of passes to come from the back to end in a top 4 transfer behind some tough competition! The B main was a lot tougher and he made some good moves but came up short on the transfer to the A.

Light 160 the track totally fooled dad and we ended up P10. But we still made the A so not a total disappointment!🤣

All in all Maddox did the best he could with what we gave him. He proved that he is still a tough competitor and that we will continue to keep grinding to get better!

After the races we calculated points standings for the All American Clash and also gave out awards to our highest finishing positioners for the Clash at the Topeka national! All the drivers did great and definitely represented the series well!

Maddox did a great job today in Topeka racing all 4 of his classes. With old tires and only a few practice rounds in each car the day prior.
We are super proud of his progress from the heat to the feature. After the heats the coin flip was invert so the features went as follows.

Sr Animal
P3-P3🥉

Lt 160
P3-P3🥉

Sr Honda
P2-P2🥈

Lt World was a heartbreaker. After probably 4 attempts at a green flag and a lineup shuffle Maddox was put in P2 position when he was supposed to start P3. Once they finally got a green flag P1 shoved Maddox into the wall coming across the checkered line on the FIRST lap and when she spun out Maddox hit her with his right front totally killing his front axle and radius rods.

But all in all 3/4 podiums isn’t too shabby for a track we haven’t ran in over a year.
