The Inlet Mighty Loons concluded the 2025-26 season with the most ice time, games, and tournaments in the program’s history. We recognize the efforts of the athletes, coaches, and Inlet town staff that worked hard for this success.
Some of our hockey participants that started on Inlet ice are now continuing with neighboring programs, having been selected to AAA and AA teams. We look forward to the returning players and skaters continuing to grow our teams right here in the Adirondacks.
For the first time in program history our Learn to Skate team held an exhibition to showcase their talent, and we are very proud of the growth in this group.
The Mighty Loons will enter its sixth season, and we have a need and opportunity for new coaches to make their mark. If you have ever considered combining your love of hockey with your love of the Adirondacks, we encourage you to share what made your childhood special with this community. With all this growth comes the need for a strong board of directors. This year’s ballot includes the following candidates: Janet Cardella, Samantha Gossin, Miyako Schanely, Steve Schanely, Jaimee Tormey and Steve Young.
