Hanks deer recovery

This is a call i dont like to get….a few days ago we trackes a deer and had no luck… got a call this evening that they had found it….. this is only the second one over the last three years but its never a great feeling that they had to recover it days later….

As bow season has came and left, thank you to everyone for putting your trophy’s in our hands to help recover them….
Hank and i will continue to train over the next year( putting ditches amd ponds on the list)to continue helping

Got a call this evening about 7 for a track…..hunter hit deer in rear ham up the body…..Did the right thing and made the call and went to camp….first call on a rear ham shot with no pass through….was not to sure what to expect with no pass through amd no blood at sight…could have hit  artery, or not…once hank figured out where the hit site was amd direction we made quick work of it! Thank you again for the people at this camp for not pushing these deer and making our job easier !!

Got a csll… hunter was confident about shot…checked arrow, some gut,,, no blood…He did all of us a favor and backed out..with deer not being pushed or contaminating area, made for a pretty easy recovery, even with no blood..exit wound was totally blocked with guts.. thanks for doing the right thing and making hanks job easier, and congrats on another harvest!

This deer is one we tracked last weeknd amd did not find….im glad he showed back up on camera as it helps me learn more amd learm more of what hank is doing amd telling me… i (as well as the hunter) like to habe closure on a track that was unsuccessful..!
Hopdully u get another shot on him!

Got to put hank on one for my daughter…. Not needed as she put an awesome double lung shot but alittle practice never hurts
