I did this 5K internal style! As soon as I felt comfortable I picked up my pace ... I moved to earn this medal! Zero additional training. S/O to my fitness classes + weight training sessions that contributed to today's race. I survived!πŸ™πŸ½πŸŽ‰πŸ™ŒπŸ½

Every so often I get to teach at an assisted living facility where we work on Strength & Balance.

Folks walk in, with & without walkers, even stroll in wheelchairs... in their 70s+... my oldest 96! It is truly a blessing to experience. As excited as they are to see me, I absolutely LOVE working with them. Their knowledge, humor and love fills my cup.

Word of the day: BALANCE. Worked on it during HIIT on the FitBench, and in a senior setting such as this one barely touching the chair. Extreme experiences, both equally important & valuable both physically & mentally.❀️
