This course is aimed students who have taken Beginner I, or students with at least a month of tango experience. We’ll work on front and back ochos, turns to both sides, and walking to the cross, with an emphasis on connection and improvisation.

We'll also touch on musicality, posture, embrace, and some skills for thriving at a social tango event.

Note: purchase of this class series also includes entry to the Thursday Practica right after the class.

Link in bio to register. This 6-part series will introduce you the mysterious language of tango. Once you know it, you can dance with any other tango dancer, anywhere in the world. We’ll learn the fundamentals of leading & following, and a few basic figures, with a focus on fun & connection.

No partner required. This is a progressive series, so drop-ins will not be accepted after the first week. No special shoes required.

Six Mondays from 8-9pm starting November 2nd 2026

$100 for all 6 classes, and includes admission to a tango social after the class.
