Hold 'Em Poker League The Hold' Em Poker League is a volunteer-run league of home games with NO RAKES and a structure that makes it ideal for players of all skill levels.

The Hold 'Em Poker League is a low cost competition over a 10-12 week season (with breaks for holidays) where each player plays nine 9-handed sit-and-go games to score points to make Playoffs and Finals. We play at the homes of league members who volunteer to host games spanning the range from L.A. to South O.C. It's a great way for inexperienced players to gain experience in a friendly atmosphere

for a modest cost - while also providing experienced players with tough, consistent competition.

35% of league fees are paid out in Regular Season weekly games, and the 65% is paid out in the Finals, with first prize being about 20% of the total pot. The league is organized and managed on a voluntary basis by members. There is NO RAKE by either table hosts or league organizers! The league has had 70 to 120 players in each of the last 5 seasons, and over 500 current, former, and prospective players on our mailing list. There are single day tournaments and cash games for those who have played in the League.
