Leah Becker graduated from The University of Findlay in 2013 with Bachelors of Science degrees in Equestrian Studies Western Training Emphasis and Equine Business Management. She has worked under and learned from many western trainers and spent several years working on guest ranches where she led trail rides, riding clinics, and assisted in all areas of equine management. Leah enjoys ranch versati

lity riding and trail riding and strives to give all horses that she trains the confidence and foundation they need to be safe, reliable, and lifelong companions for their owners. The Pony Updo lesson is by far one of the Pony Preschoolers favorites 🤩 and they have no idea how many things they are practicing! Not only are they learning how to ride Scout, but they are practicing staying balanced as they reach for the clips, practicing staying focused as we search for them, practicing dexterity and motor skills to put them in his mane, practicing colors as we collect them, and practicing managing our behavior while we're around Scout among so much more! Who knew learning could be so fun? 🤔😍🐎

Cowboy has been training up some new Early Birds! 🐦🎉 These students got their worms 🪱😆 and will be coming early to get their horses ready for lessons 🎉🐎👏🏼

The Early Bird prize is one of my favorite prizes in my program! Not only does it reward and celebrate responsibility, independence, and overall safety awareness around the horses, but it gives students MORE TIME! They get to be around the horses longer each week and they get to spend more time learning new things. All of the skills on the Early Bird checklist are important skills for spending time around and enjoying horses and they set students up for success!
