Still fighting a slice?🏌️Before you change your entire swing, try these 3 easy drills instead. 👇
⛳️ 1. The Pause Drill
Pausing at the top of your backswing gives your lower body time to start the downswing first, helping you avoid coming over the top—a major cause of a slice.
⛳️ 2. The Step Back Drill
Stepping your trail foot back naturally encourages an in-to-out swing path, making it easier to deliver the club from the inside instead of cutting across the ball.
⛳️ 3. The Barrier Drill
Place a headcover or alignment stick just outside the ball. If you hit the barrier, you’re swinging over the top. Clearing it trains the proper swing path for straighter, more consistent shots.
These are simple, but they’re incredibly effective when practiced consistently. Save this for your next range session, and send it to the golfer who always says, “I just can’t stop slicing it.” ⛳️
