That’s one thing you can count on at Category 5 Training.

We will always show you how to do what we’re asking of you. We’ll never put an athlete through something we haven’t experienced, practiced, or mastered ourselves.

Especially in our 1-on-1 training environment, we’re able to give athletes the attention to detail they deserve breaking down movement, correcting mistakes, and providing the exact cues we’re looking for to maximize development.

Because development isn’t about just making an athlete tired.

It doesn’t matter where you start. It matters that you have a vision of where you’re trying to go.

Our job isn’t to lower the standard so you feel comfortable. Our job is to meet you where you’re at, build from what you can do, and keep raising the bar as you grow. That’s real development.

A lot of people are intimidated to walk through the doors because they know they’ll be tested. And they’re right. But we’re not testing you to break you, we’re testing you to show you another level of yourself that you haven’t met yet!🌪️

Every level you earn opens the door to another one.

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT: MARK “JUNIOR” McGOWAN 🏆

Congratulations to Junior for winning MVP of the entire Desert Showcase and leading the 760 Valley Boys to the 14U Sevens Tournament Championship as their starting quarterback.

If you know Junior, then you know this journey was not easy for him, even from birth. If you know his backstory, you know he’s had to overcome adversity, being doubted, bullied, picked on, and facing trials that so many kids go through growing up.

But instead of folding, he kept showing up.

From where he started to where he’s at now is a true testament to hard work, discipline, dedication, and mental resilience. Day after day, he committed himself to rewiring his body, sharpening his mind, and building belief within himself.

That’s what this is really about.

At Category 5 Training, we believe every child has greatness inside of them. Sometimes they just need the right environment, structure, mentorship, and belief around them to unlock their full potential.

We are not only building athletes, we are helping shape these kids into who they are truly meant to become.

Big day at UCLA Bruins football 🏈

Got to take the boys behind the scenes of what a real D1 program looks like. The discipline, structure, tempo, the standard it takes to compete at that level. They met players, got gloves, and most importantly… got a vision.

You could see it in their eyes! it got real today.
This is what it’s about. Expanding horizons, building belief, and showing them exactly what’s possible when preparation meets opportunity.

Grateful for the experience, proud of the squad, and even more motivated for what’s ahead.
