🎉 Congratulations Dru Turner!!!

Wayland Baptist Wrestling is excited to announce the signing of Dru Turner from Hinton, Oklahoma!

Dru brings an outstanding résumé to Plainview as a 4-time OSSAA State Placer, 3-time OSSAA State Champion, 4-time OSSAA Regional Champion, and owner of an incredible 133-3 high school record. She has also represented Oklahoma as a National Team member and is a multiple-time Fargo qualifier.

Dru’s work ethic, competitive drive, and championship mindset make her a tremendous addition to our program. We are excited to watch her continue her academic and athletic journey at Wayland Baptist University.

8 members of the Tough N Technical Wrestling Club were selected to represent TEAM OKLAHOMA at the USA Wrestling Women’s National Duals in Indianapolis, IN! We have members on each of the three age levels 14U, 16U, and Junior! Way to go ladies!! We are proud of you!! Go get in a fight and represent Oklahoma well! 🤠🖤

Gabriel Davis and Cash Newton have earned the honor of representing Team Oklahoma this next week in Florida at the 14U National Duals! A huge accomplishment for them in their wrestling careers! Remember, this is way bigger than you! It’s about what’s written on your chest!! This is about the reputation of Oklahoma Wrestling! The legacy and tradition as well as continuing to build our state for future generations to come!! Go be great gentleman!! 🤠

Fun Saturday for the Tough N Technical Wrestling Club at the OKUSA Wrestling Freestyle/Greco State Tournament! It was a long day, with lots of great competition! Shout out to the officials who reffed all day with minimal breaks and all the hard working volunteers that helped the tournament run! So much work goes into these events, and our club is truly grateful for the opportunity to compete! Our kids really wrestled hard and put it on the line! Had some great results and also know what we need to tune-up before Southern Plains!
