👑Meet Queens of Ames👑

With the Ames course being a little long, we did a little math to adjust times to see what the girls would have run had the course been 3.1...

Queen Nora would have been 2 SECONDS off of a LIFETIME BEST according to her adjusted time!! Wow!! What a gutsy race by her on a hot hot day! A testament to her hard work in the summer getting miles on the ground and wrestling on the mat!

Queen Mabel has very obviously been working on her mental game and it shows on the course as she exudes confidence and calm! Proud of her poise on race day!

Once an XC mom and dad, always an XC mom and dad!!

Coach Mo's parents brought a cooler of ice to soak our team's jerseys in before the race to keep cool, and brought Popsicles to boot!! MVPs of the night!! 🧊🧊🧊

Kirk Schmaltz Invitational | Ames

WOW what a scorcher!! Indy Girls battled through heat and sun, but showed so much grit and toughness! We are grateful to Ames High for making accommodations so the meet could still happen. It was a great day to practice patience and perseverance!

Indy Girls placed 9th of 15!
🎀Paige Hoger was our top finisher and she received a ribbon for her 23rd place finish!

There is not much you can control in life but attitude and effort.. and these girls BROUGHT IT today!!

💪STRONG Award Week 3!

Paige has been TENACIOUS with her training and led our team as our first finisher on Saturday; just two seconds shy of a lifetime best!!

Lilly has been a NOBLE teammate. She leads by example and is always doing what we do the right way! A great leader!

Harper has been OPTIMISTIC! As a new member of our team, she fit right in and is cranking out some great workouts! In her first ever IHS race, she rounded out our top 7!
