🏁 Neck strength is a performance requirement for racing drivers.
Under braking and sustained lateral load, the driver must keep the head stable against repeated G-force while maintaining a consistent visual reference and precise steering inputs.
A fatigued neck means more effort spent controlling head position—especially late in a stint.
Train for isometric strength, multi-directional load tolerance, and fatigue resistance so the head stays controlled when the car is at the limit.
We use the Neck Hat from LaceUp Athletics because not only does it allow for flexion, extension, & lateral flexion, it also allows us to add rotation into these same movements simultaneously.
