Too busy to prioritize your fitness but always expect the best from yourself?!

That’s exactly why Indianapolis based runner Dale started coaching with FLYT Performance, referred to Coach through a mutual friend.

As an international lawyer constantly traveling, fitness always seemed to fall to the bottom of the list. Between Coach Amy and FLYT movement specialist , we designed a fully personalized run and strength program around Dale’s real life, busy schedule, travel, limitations, and all.

The result?
His best 5K in years. Healthy and fit!

And this comes from a former Army athlete and track sprinter, converted to distance runner!

Your schedule doesn’t have to be the reason you stop performing at your best. Let us help you stay accountable and work with you.

Weekend FLYT Report!
Multiple races. Big performances.

What a weekend for FLYT Performance athletes across triathlon, trail racing, relay events, and the marathon distance. They kept the FLYT coaches hopping, tracking & cheering all weekend!

🔹Moriane Olympic Triathlon:
Huge congratulations to 1-1 Lauren Ascah on an incredible race and a massive bike split win a solid swim and run, earning her Overall Female Champion honors and finishing 15 minutes faster than last year’s performance.

Age group awards also went to 1-1 Lori Comber 1st AG with a dominant and consistent day across all three disciplines, and 1-1 Erica Larkin, 3rd AG, battled through bike mechanical issues and still fought her way to a podium finish with a very strong swim. Both athletes continue building toward Ironman Lake Placid.

A special shoutout goes to 1-1 Delaney Takoch for completing her first Olympic triathlon & 1st adult triathlon while also winning her age group. Delaney was the one of the 1st female swimmers out of the water in the Olympic distance race overall. Excited to watch this young athlete continue to grow in the sport.

🔹At the Marine Sprint Triathlon, Coach Stacy reported personal best performances from 1-1 AJ Perry & Amy Myers, along with a very strong race from athlete Laura Pesci.

🔹The Florida Keys 100 Relay was another highlight for our FLYT 1-1 athletes. Brian Trimboli, currently preparing for Tahoe 200, helped lead and mentor relay teammates Heather Heutsche, Kim Krueger, and Delaney Javens through an outstanding team effort. Also, a big shoutout to CycleLife member Schillaci for his consistent relay legs.

🔹Congratulations to 1-1 Megan Stockner for competing in the Oil Creek 5 Mile Trail Run. The trails are clearly where Megan feels most at home and where she shines brightest.

🔹And finally, kudos to 1-1 Lisa Chiavazza on completing her first marathon. After seeking out a return-to-run progression with Coach Amy, Lisa arrived healthy, strong, and prepared to accomplish this milestone.

Coach & are incredibly proud of all of our athletes this weekend. Keep trusting the process. Keep training strong.

Early season triathlon racing has arrived in Western PA, and as a coach attending these first local races with my athletes, I always remind them that this is a dress rehearsal for the bigger goals ahead. We always have bigger fish to fry!

The first race of the season is about more than performance. It is a chance to refresh race week routines, practice nutrition and recovery protocols, and make sure all gear is race ready. Bike maintenance and equipment checks should happen well before race week since local shops get busy this time of year. We do get a bit rusty in the off-season and we have to refresh!

Early season conditions also require flexibility. Cold water, changing terrain, and unpredictable weather may mean adjusting pacing and race strategy accordingly.

Most importantly, treat the first race as an experience and learning opportunity. The athletes who approach these races with patience and perspective often build the strongest foundation for a successful triathlon season ahead.

Happy opening day to many this month! Enjoy your season!

Weekend wins at FLYT Performance.

Our athletes showed up in a big way this weekend, racing goal events and key prep races for the season ahead.

🔹Lauren Ascah captured 1st Overall Age Group and 12th Female Overall at the PICKSburgh NFL Draft 5K. Lauren is building strong momentum toward the Ironman 70.3 World Championship later this year.

🔹Kim Krueger delivered a smart, disciplined race in Columbus with a negative split half marathon. Kim came to triathlon as a beginner last season and has elevated her game in a major way as she prepares for 70.3 IM Sandusky this summer.

🔹Steve Desio checked another Abbott World Marathon Major off the list in London. Steve has been with Coach Amy for over 12 years and continues to prove that ambitious goals have no expiration date. Different season…different focus…different experiences.

🔹Brian Trimboli tackled the muddy and demanding Tap for Sap 25K Trail Race near Pittsburgh, finishing in the top half of the field as he builds toward the legendary Lake Tahoe 200 in June.

Proud coaching moment for Coach (Lauren, Steve, Brian) and Coach Stacy (Kim). The work done in the dark always shows up on race day.
