We are honored to celebrate the life of a true visionary who touched countless lives during over 60 years of service to the Indianapolis Community Tennis Program. Our founder and fearless leader, BB, brought the world of tennis to Indianapolis and brought worldwide acclaim to a youth tennis program that grew from backyard clinics to a welcoming summer-long program that provides affordable tennis instruction of the highest quality. The love and enthusiasm with which she taught will continue to be passed down to generation after generation of young athletes. 

We are a tiny handful of the lives she taught, led, and inspired, and we will strive to follow the light with which she led us. As most players who spent time on our courts know, BB rarely left anyone without a sincere, “Love you.” On behalf of everyone who worked and volunteered at her side, we love you more, BB. 

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 23rd at the Barbara S. Wynne Tennis Center located on the North Central High School campus from 4-7pm (1805 E 86th Street). Tennis attire is welcome. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24th at Saint Christopher’s Episcopal Church at 2:00 pm (1402 West Main Street, Carmel, IN).

Happy Birthday to the heart of our program, Barbara "BB" Wynne!

Because of your vision, kindness, and unwavering belief in the power of tennis, thousands of children and families have found joy, friendship, and the love of the game. Your legacy isn't measured in courts or trophies, it's measured in lives changed.

Today we celebrate you and all you've given to our community over the past six decades. Thank you for inspiring generations to dream big, work hard, and always lead with love.

Due to heavy rain in the forecast and field conditions, we've made the difficult decision to postpone Polo at Sunset.

The good news? The event is not canceled—just rescheduled! We'll announce a new date shortly after the July 4 holiday.
