Clark Racing The race within a race was the $5,000 Kenny’s Auto Sales award for best finishing Stocker.

Greenfield, Indiana’s Matt Clark made a late race rally to beat Kentucky’s Art Groulx for the big money. Clark’s 291 laps were nearly enough to win top rookie honors as well. “I cannot believe I won this award”, said Clark. “This car was just about bare bones a month ago. When we heard about the $5k my friends and I went to work on the car”. The accomplishment was even more amazing as Matt had not

raced all year long. This World Figure 8® Championship is now in the record books and what a great show it was.

WEEKEND UPDATE: Friday nights race at the famed Indianapolis Raceway Park proved to be another step in the right direction. Unloaded 15th of 23 in practice. Gained over a second in our qualifying run with our best time there yet, and best grid starting spot so far this season, with an 11th best time. The sun going down in turn 4 made for a dangerous first 30 laps. We avoided "the big one" somehow and restarted 12th. Fought with the 27 for what seemed to be the whole race and came home 9th. Off to Anderson Speedway for next Saturday's 75 lap event. Can't thank my guys enough for getting the new motor back together and swapped out while I was away for work all last week.
