Oaklandon Youth Organization

The Oaklandon Youth Organization is an all-volunteer baseball and softball league serving nearly 1,900 players and 1,200 families annually in Central Indiana.

Oaklandon Youth Organization, Inc. is an all-volunteer youth baseball and softball organization established in 1975. OYO provides youth baseball and softball recreational leagues for children, regardless of ability, under a “fairplay” atmosphere focusing on player participation, training, and development. OYO offers developmental, instructional and travel baseball and softball experiences for boys

and girls ages 4-18. OYO plays and practices at the Veterans Memorial Park, the premier baseball and softball facility in the area, with eleven fields, three of which are lighted. We provide a full service concession stand and permanent, clean restroom facilities. As OYO continues to grow, more volunteers are needed to continue to keep OYO as one of the best youth baseball and softball leagues in Central Indiana!

Sometimes, OYO is about much more than just baseball and softball. And Sunday, May 31 was one of those days. It was all the more special when it was #24 for #24.

Yesterday, more than 100 volunteers, 56 all-star teams, 650 players and 2500 fans came together for more than a competitive all-star tournament. They played for a purpose and cause to help support families affected by adolescent and teenage addiction and the organizations that help them. Learn more about how the 24th Annual David Manlove Memorial Tournament supports The 24 Group.

Good morning, OYO Community! Time to rise and shine for the 24th Annual David Manlove Memorial Tournament, which raises awareness about adolescent and teenage substance abuse. All proceeds from today’s one-day tournament — featuring 56 all-star baseball and softball teams from across Central Indiana — will be donated to The 24 Group.

OYO is proud to see the two high schools serving our Lawrence community participating in the 4A Sectional 10 softball championship tonight (Friday, May 29).

OYO is proud of all the participating players and coaches, which includes more than a dozen players in the starting lineups and a majority of all the players on the roster who once called OYO home for their softball experience.

And if you are looking for a fun, competitive and memorable softball to watch this evening, head to Warren Central High School to see the championship game at 6 p.m.

The Oaklandon Bombers 8U Allstar Travel Team (Team Hutchinson) played in their first travel tournament of the season, the Midwest Showcase Tournament in Greenfield, IN this weekend. They went 3-0 on the way to the championship with scores of 17-2, 15-0, and 18-8! The boys played hard, cheered hard, and represented OYO in the best way possible! This team is setup to have an incredible Summer of fun! Go Bombers!!
