Riley Nixon leads the Jags in the 5K with a gutsy double tying his PR in the event with a 5th place finish at 14:30.66!

After leading the first 2K of the race Luke Shappell also hangs on to finish on the podium off of the double as well!

Luke Shappell runs to a new school record and Horizon League 1500m finals record with a 3:45.37 to defend his conference title!

Sophomore Riley Nixon earns a podium finish as well in 4th place just off of his PR at 3:47.91.

Freshman Eli Oetken just off the podium at 9th.

A program record tying 3️⃣ men qualify for Sunday’s finals in the 1500m.

Riley Nixon, Luke Shappell, and Eli Oetken would all earn automatic bids Friday evening with a top 3 prelim heat finishes. Isaac Riggs would also nab a new collegiate PR in the 1500m prelims as well.
