To the Must See Racing community:

I never wanted to address this publicly, but I believe our racers, teams, sponsors, tracks, officials, and fans deserve some transparency given recent reports regarding the future of Must See Racing and rumors of a new competing series.
Ongoing disputes related to our purchase of Must See Racing remain unresolved and have affected the organization. While these matters are being addressed through the proper legal channels, I think it's important for our community to know that there is more happening behind the scenes than many realize. Mr. Jim Hanks agreed to sell the series to DFQ Racing in March, 2026. We had hoped that Jim would be an ally and a consultant to help the transition, but instead he has been actively working against Must See Racing and contrary to his legal obligations since the sale was complete. Jim has withheld funds paid by sponsors and advertisers, deleted the series' page, has attempted to institute misguided litigation against Must See Racing (which was summarily dismissed by the court), and has continued to violate his agreement to not compete against Must See Racing. We are responding to his behavior in the proper forums and in the appropriate time.
My responsibility is not to win an argument with a former owner. My responsibility is to protect Must See Racing and the people who depend on it.
And despite these challenges, my commitment has not changed. We will continue moving forward, supporting our competitors, honoring our obligations, and building a stronger future for Must See Racing.

MUST SEE RACING ANNOUNCES CANCELLATION OF DELAWARE SPEEDWAY EVENT
August 28, 2026 — Must See Racing regrettably announces the cancellation of its upcoming event at Delaware Speedway due to unforeseen logistical circumstances beyond the series’ control.
This was not a decision made lightly. Despite every effort to move forward with the event as planned, circumstances outside of our control have made it impossible to properly conduct the event at the level expected by our competitors, partners, Delaware Speedway, and most importantly, the fans.
Must See Racing sincerely apologizes to the Delaware Speedway fans who were looking forward to the event. We also extend our sincere apologies and appreciation to Delaware Speedway ownership, management, staff, competitors, sponsors, and everyone who has invested time and effort preparing for the event.
We have tremendous respect for Delaware Speedway and its passionate racing community. This cancellation is strictly the result of logistical circumstances beyond our control and should in no way reflect upon Delaware Speedway or its staff.
We understand the disappointment that comes with the cancellation of a racing event, and we share that disappointment.

TOP FIVE DRIVERS IN RECENT RANKINGS ARE FORMER MSR WINNERS

August 6, 2026 - The second edition of the 2026 National Pavement Sprint Car Rankings was released in late July. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the top five drivers in the rankings each are former Must See Racing feature winners.

Aaron Willison holds the top spot. Willison has won numerous times in MSR competition over the past three seasons. He last won an MSR event on July 23, 2025, when he captured the Bob Frey Classic at Sandusky Speedway.

Kody Swanson comes in at #2. Swanson swept a pair of MSR events including the $10,000 to win finale at Owosso Speedway last Labor Day Weekend.

Bobby Santos III sits at #3. Santos III is the winningest MSR driver over the past three seasons. He is the current series points leader and has won as recently as June 6, 2026, at Berlin Raceway.

Colton Bettis comes in at #4 in the current rankings. The 16-year-old Floridian captured his first career MSR victory this past May 8 at Anderson, South Carolina.

Davey Hamilton rounds out the top five of the current rankings. Hamilton Jr. has won numerous times in MSR competition, but it’s been since September 16, 2023, that Hamilton Jr. last won in MSR competition. He won an event at Plymouth, Indiana on that date. He did set a new track record at Anderson, South Carolina in MSR competition this past May 8.

To have the five top ranked drivers in the current rankings be former MSR winners is a testament to the competition level and competitive nature of the series.

Must See Racing 410 Pavement Winged Warriors and Delaware Speedway Announce Event Date Change
Delaware, Ontario — Must See Racing (MSR) 410 Pavement Winged Warriors and Delaware Speedway have jointly announced that their scheduled event originally set for Friday, August 7, 2026, has been rescheduled to Friday, September 4, 2026.
Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict affecting the event, officials from both Must See Racing and Delaware Speedway worked together to find a solution that would preserve the race rather than cancel it. After careful consideration, both organizations agreed that moving the event to September 4 was the best decision for the competitors, teams, partners, and, most importantly, the fans.
"From the beginning, our priority has been to put on the best possible show," said representatives from both organizations. "Rather than lose one of the most anticipated races of the season, we felt it was important to work together and find a date that allows everyone to experience the excitement of the 410 Pavement Winged Warriors at Delaware Speedway."
The new Labor Day weekend date creates an exciting opportunity for race fans and competitors alike while also opening the door for something even bigger in the future.
Officials from Must See Racing and Delaware Speedway are currently exploring plans that could lead to a major announcement for the 2027 season. Discussions are underway regarding the possibility of another premier open-wheel racing series joining the action-packed 410 Pavement Winged Warriors for what could become one of the marquee open-wheel racing events in North America.
While details are still being finalized, both organizations are committed to building an event that exceeds expectations and continues to grow the tradition of elite pavement open-wheel racing.
"We're excited about what the future may hold," officials added. "Our focus has always been on giving our fans the very best racing experience possible. This schedule adjustment not only ensures this year's event will take place, but it also allows us to continue working toward an even bigger vision for 2027."
Fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for Friday, September 4, 2026, as the Must See Racing 410 Pavement Winged Warriors return to Delaware Speedway for an evening of high-speed, edge-of-your-seat open-wheel racing.
