It was a Step One ambassador Saturday double-header at Indianapolis Motor Speedway over the weekend. 💨⬇️
Romain Grosjean kicked off his outing in Indiana with a strong P6 in Friday’s NTT INDYCAR SERIES qualifying. Saturday’s race start was a tricky one, with Romain getting caught up in the melee, shuffling him down the order. He was relentless in his pursuit to move back up the field, but a mechanical failure on the last lap meant he finished the race in P18. 🏁
Chandler Smith experienced mixed weather conditions during his time on track with NASCAR Xfinity, slotting in P18 after his qualifying effort on a drying track. Come race time, Chandler worked his way up the field with precision and gained top-10 points in the first two stages, but was unfortunately given a big hit toward the end of the race and limped the car home with damage to be classified P34. 🏁
