I want to thank all those who have supported Hyzer Ground and let you know that your support has made it possible for us to help support a new course! The course is located at VFW Post 7119 .
It will be an 18-hole course with lots of elevation changes, creeks, and woods. Hyzer Ground is helping with funding as well as design and construction. This is going to be a fun course that will also help support the VFW and its mission.

This week started our disc golf program with the after-school program at Brookside Community Play. Over the next several weeks we will be teaching the kids about disc golf. Huge shoutout to Zing Mini Discs for helping out. The kids' faces lit up when I let them pick out their own mini.

Hyzer Ground has began an exciting new partnership with Brookside Community Play to introduce disc golf to kids in the Brookside neighborhood. We will be running a 6 week disc golf program during their after school for kids in grades 1-6. Huge thanks to Craig at Zing mini discs for his generous donation for the kids. If you’re not marking your lie with a Zing mini you’re doing it wrong.

As the sun was setting tonight at Hyzer Ground I took a moment to reflect. Toady marked 6 months since we started this journey. The mission was clear from the start to help fund the development of new courses in Central Indiana. What wasn't so clear was how we would get there and how long it would take. I'm so grateful for the support the disc golf community has given us. Thanks to everyone who has come out for a lesson, bought a hat/t-shirt, or played in the Indy Ace Off. I'm happy to say the course development fund is closing in on $3000 and is on pace to be able to fully fund a new 9 hole course by the end of the year. This fall we will be starting the process of getting that course approved by Indy Parks.

Week 2 of the Indy Ace Off started with some perfect weather and great shooting. Congrats to Carson Buck for the sweet ace on the marksman basket. Carson was on fire scoring 17 points with an ace and 3 more metal hits.

Big congrats to Carson Buck for taking the win at Chubb Disc Golf’s Tournament today. Carson is a young up and coming player that we were excited to work with at a one on one training session. He puts in the work and the results are showing. It will be fun to watch as his game continues to progress.

Hyzer Ground hats just went live on the website. All SPF rated for sun protection while out on the course. A portion of each sale goes into our course development fund to help build more courses in Central Indiana.
