Our Rapsodo Hitting 2.0 is officially up and running at Carter Hitting! 🔥🥎
Over the past few weeks we’ve been collecting baseline metrics and getting athletes set up in the system. If you received an email invitation from Rapsodo, please take a few minutes to accept the invitation, verify your email, and finish creating your account. This ensures your athlete’s data is saved and accessible for future lessons.
What does Rapsodo measure?
⚡ Exit Velocity – How fast the ball comes off the bat (one of the best indicators of power).
📈 Launch Angle – The angle the ball leaves the bat, helping us optimize line drives, hard ground balls, and power.
🌀 Batted Ball Spin – Measures spin rate and spin axis to better understand contact quality.
It also tracks:
• Launch Direction
• Total Distance
• Spin Axis & Ball Flight
• RapScore™ (an objective 20–80 player rating based on batted-ball performance)
Why does this matter?
Instead of guessing what needs to improve, we’ll have objective data to:
✅ Track progress over time
✅ Identify strengths and weaknesses
✅ Set measurable goals
✅ Celebrate personal records
✅ Show athletes exactly how their hard work is paying off
Every athlete will begin building a performance history that grows with them, making it easy to see improvement from lesson to lesson and season to season.
