Volleyball Coaches Report - 10/3
Our GMS volleyball teams had a program sweep last night over Hurst Junior High!
The 7th grade B team player of the week goes to Isabella Olea for her consistently positive demeanor and work ethic. The MVP for last night's game goes to the setter, Victoria Suges, who was flying all over the court, leading her team to a big victory.
Our 7th grade A team was led by Ella Wilson's 8 ace serves, 2 kills and consistent setting as the MVP. The player of the week is Claire McDermott who never fails to be positive and give it her all.
8th grade B team was led by Ariana Lopez's flexibility, teamwork and great passes as the team MVP. The player of the week goes to Jei'el Rhone for her work ethic, dedication and focus all week at practice and an outstanding performance at the tournament this past weekend.
The 8th grade A team player of the week goes to Raegan Stanley for her competitive drive to make all of those around her better each and every day. The MVP for the game goes to Briana Ruezga with her all around great game setting and behind the serving line.
Next week our volleyball teams will take on the Broncos from Heritage Middle School on Wednesday since we do not have school on Monday.
