Here's to the dirt- hope it's damp and kinda tacky.
Here's to the motor, hope it's crisp and not lacking.
Hope these ol Hoosier tires hold a good bead.
And I hope this ol driver can find some damn speed.
He's chasing a dream with no fear and no budget.
His wife might hate racin-but boy, how he loves it.

Racing for tomorrow, April 21 Circle City Raceway has been cancelled for rain๐Ÿ˜”.

Probably lucky for us, as the car isn't as far along as it should be.

Getting closer and closer. Once we get the rear end back, it will be ready to finish up!

One of our crew guys (Eddie Kerner) is building us a model sprint car and it is just so cool!! Check this out.

He builds models of most types of racecars for $150-300+ depending on complexity.

Portfolio available upon request.

Car is coming along! Huge thanks to Cody Sanborn for coming by this weekend and helping us get the new build started!

In order to run a "stock" motor in a sprint car, you'll need to do a little engineering and machine work. Today we removed the rear cam seal to begin the process of installing our cam drive spud to run power steering and fuel pumps.

We got our new cam seal and spud from Speedway Motors if you're looking to do the same!

We still have some fancy spacers and such to fabricate in order to make this motor run in a sprint car. Overall, the goal was to have a sprintcar powerplant as cheaply as possible- we're still doing great in that aspect!

So thankful for Steel Block Sprint's for allowing a series that is all about setup and driver skill instead of spending money ๐Ÿ™.
