PSA TO ATHLETES & PARENTS LOOKING FOR A STRENGTH COACH:

Do not just pick a person because they're doing something that looks cool on Instagram or social media. Unfortunately that's the world we live in now, is Social Media and get drawn in by what someone else is doing. Each kid has a different skill set and different potential. Your coach should be able to make adjustments accordingly. Make sure your coaches have actual field experience, possibly a degree (not always necessary but helps) and the knowledge as to why they are doing said exercise. Make sure it fits what they are training for and not just a organized recess. Strength training should have a purpose.

You should know why you're doing said exercise along with how it translates to your goals or sport.

The goal for strength training is to develop, strength, power, stability, mobility and or coordination. We will stand by FORM OVER WEIGHT, EVERY TIME! No excuses for form to be terrible, to say you did "x" amount of weight. Nobody will care how much weight you did when you are injured.

So again, when looking for a Strength Coach please do your research and check the boxes!
