The weather is getting better and the sun is shining. We have 2 group runs. Mondays meet at the Indiana Area High School and Wednesday meet at Indiana Region Medical Center front parking lot.

For those who may have been planning to join us for our annual Christmas Lights Run tomorrow, we have postponed it for a week due to extreme cold weather. We'll try again on Monday, December 22, 2025, 6:00 PM at the Indiana High School on North 5th Street.

The Hoodlebug 5K Run & Fun Walk will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025. The race starts at 4:30 PM on Main Street in Homer City with a good portion on the Hoodlebug Trail south of town before finishing again on Main Street. Fast and mostly flat. A good PR course.

Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at Floodway Park beginning at 3:00 PM. Following the race awards will be presented at Floodway Park. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers as well as the top three males and females in five-year age groups up to 70+. There are no separate awards for walkers, but walkers are eligible to receive the awards described here.

We recommend that you preregister for this event to ensure that you get a race t-shirt. We will have a shirt for you if you register by Thursday, September 4th. Race shirts will not be available after that date or on race day. You can register online or by downloading and printing an application. The Hoodlebug 5K is conducted by Indiana Road Runners Club in conjunction with the Homer City Business Association as part of their annual Fall Festival. We invite you to arrive early to enjoy the festival activities and the classic car show.
