35 degrees, a long sit, patience got er done today. Not a gobble on the roost. Around 7:30, 3 random gobbles, 2 raced in and the rest is history. Congratulations Carrie, great shot.

It's not always about the buck in the back of your pickup. Nah, sometimes hunting is so much more than that.If you're lucky, it's about the the stories made with your best friends out in the woods. Tonight, we filled 3 tags and cut the last deer up and got it in the refrigerator at 2:30AM #. As I get older, long days like this, take it out of a old boy like me, but it was so worth it. Special Thanks to the tracking crew, I couldn't have done it without you. Wishing every one of you the best hunting season and most memorable.
