New York Empire

The New York Empire is a mixed-gender professional tennis franchise in the World TeamTennis (WTT) league, co-founded by the legendary Billie Jean King.

The Empire competes its home matches in the Manhattan area, featuring some of the biggest ATP/WTA stars The New York Empire Presented by Citi are one of six teams competing in Mylan World TeamTennis. The New York Empire will play their home matches on Court 17 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. between July 16 – July 31. WTT is in its 42nd season as the i

nnovative leader in professional team tennis competition. Team matches consist of five sets, with one set each of men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles. One point is awarded for each game won and overall match scoring is cumulative. Sets are played to five with no ad scoring and the home team sets the order of play.

Eubanks will be replacing Neal Skupski who is now playing Davis Cup and will be unable to play WTT this season
