Uneven shoulders usually start at the scaps.

If one dumbbell drifts higher or one shoulder keeps hiking, your scapula may not be moving or stabilizing well on the rib cage.

Before adding weight, clean up the pattern:

Control the ribs. Activate the shoulder blades. Press evenly.

A better squat is not just about what happens in the gym.

It is about getting up, getting down, carrying, climbing, lifting, training, and moving through life with more strength and control.

If your squat feels tight, unstable, or limited, these are three drills we use to help clean up the pattern:

1. PVC Lunge to improve hip, knee, and ankle control.

2. Counterbalance Squat to help you find depth without folding forward or falling back.

3. Heel-Elevated Goblet Squat to build strength in a cleaner, more upright squat position.

Small improvements in how you move can make a big difference in how you train and how you feel outside the gym.
