🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — 9.11.01 🇺🇸
Carolina Courts remembers the thousands of lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the everyday heroes who helped strangers, and every person whose life was forever changed that morning.
But today, our hearts are especially with the families.
For many of us, September 11th is a day we remember. For them, it is deeply personal. It is the day they lost a husband or wife, a mother or father, a son or daughter, a brother or sister, a best friend.
Every year, they carry those memories back into this day. They remember the phone calls, the hugs, the conversations and the ordinary moments they never knew would become so precious. They have lived through birthdays, graduations, weddings, holidays and countless milestones with someone missing.
More than two decades have passed, but love doesn’t have an expiration date and neither does grief.
So today, we remember more than a tragedy. We remember people. We remember families. We remember sacrifice, courage and a nation that came together during one of its darkest moments.
To every family still carrying that loss, we remember with you.
May we continue to honor those who were taken from this world far too soon by how we treat one another, how we serve our communities, and how we value the time we have with the people we love.
