Last week of summer camp

Hello, for our last week of summer camp “next week” we are switching things up and staying in each day and doing everything fun we did this summer!

Our camp is designed for ages 5-14
Each day in camp we have 2 snack times a lunch time a reading time a meditation time a taekwondo class a group craft activity and group games and both non electronic and electronic free time, all ran on a structured daily schedule.

Each day is a different theme as shown below,

Monday
is Star Wars theme build a light saber day
Will have lightsaber challenges and battles.
Make and take home a lightsaber

Tuesday
Is science day where campers will make their own slime and the slime can either stay with us or the campers can take the slime home

Wednesday
is taekwondo tournament day win a medal by showing your best form in taekwondo

Thursday
Is nunchucks day. Campers will learn nunchuck moves and take home a pair of nunchucks.

Friday
is Pokémon day, where campers can bring their own Pokémon cards and play each other. Trading not allowed.

Each day campers will need to bring
1 lunch
2 snacks
Water bottle with water
Toy or book for free time

For drop off and pick up we ask that you send us a text message to 704-839-0126 “our school phone” when you are about 5 minutes away and meet us at our back door.

Our camp hours are from 7:00am to 6:00pm daily.
Camp t-shirt not required for last week of camp due to staying in.

This is a (then) 3 year old who is so incredibly proud of herself for performing her Taekwondo skills in our school’s tournament. The fact she has Down syndrome didn’t stop her, maybe it was her super power, with the unstoppable spirit of joy and determination-some may call stubbornness 😆- she worked to emulate her role models in class, learn respect and skills, and most importantly, that She can do it!! He trophy is on her wall with many more to come. - Love,
