Over the years, we have watched these student-athletes grow not only as volleyball players, but as leaders, teammates, and outstanding young women. They have represented our program, our school, and our community with pride, determination, and heart. Through victories and challenges, they have shown resilience, character, and what it truly means to be a Warrior.
While we are sad to see them leave Indian Land Middle School, we are incredibly excited for the opportunities that await them at the next level. The future is bright for this group, and we know they will continue to achieve great things both on and off the court.
Once a Lady Warrior, Always a Lady Warrior. Here are some words of Wisdom from our Staff......
"To our Lady Warriors,
It has been a complete honor to be your Coach over the past two years. From the moment you walked into ILMS for Spring Conditioning / Summer Camp, to the moment of the last whistleā¦. Or even the night you walked across the field at 8th Grade Graduation, I could not be more proud of you than I already am. May I leave you with a few words of wisdom. Remember the āRattlesnakeā...When life gets tough, don't retreat. Coil up, stay calm, and prepare for your next move. RISE AND SHINE ITāS RATTLESNAKE TIME!!!! Be humble when you win and strong when you lose. Your attitude will open more doors than your talent. Work hard when nobody is watching. Thatās where champions are made. Always remember that Hustle and Heart will set you a partā¦..and Once a Burton Kidā¦.ALWAYS A BURTON KID!!! Much love to you all!!"
- COACH MATT BURTON
"As you move on to the next chapter of your life, remember that success is not measured by how many times you win, but by how many times you get back up after being knocked down. Be kind, work hard, and never underestimate the impact you can have on others simply by being a person of integrity. No matter where life takes you, always believe in yourself and never stop striving to become the best version of who you are."
- COACH KENDALL GRIFFIN
āAs you move on from ILMS, remember that being a Warrior is not just about athletics. It is about respect, leadership, perseverance, and excellence in everything you do. Make us proud at the next levelā - Mr. White (Assistant Principal / Athletic Director)
āLearn to work as a team, there is always strength in numbers. Remember to win and lose as a team. Also, how you play the game is just as important as winning or losingā - Mr. Thorpe (Principal)
WE LOVE YOU LADIES. ALWAYS REMEMBER.... YOU ARE FAMILY!!!
- Coach Burton & Coach Griffin
