🏆 Silver Bracket Champions 🏆

So incredibly proud of the Wombats Baseball team for getting off to a nice start this fall season! These boys battled hard all weekend at the Top Gun Fence Buddy Championships in Gastonia, NC, and brought home the Silver Bracket Championship!

Deacon Rhodes provided the walk off hit in 3-2 semifinal win. Dylan Jackson, MVP, pitched a phenomenal 6 inning complete game and finished with 9K’s.

The boys finished it off with a hard-fought 7-5 victory in the final. Nathan Gross, MVP, was great on the mound and all the boys contributed at the plate in a true team win.

This team showed heart, grit, and determination. Huge shoutout to the parents for their unwavering support.

🥎 SEASON 7 STARTS NOW! 🥎

The Carolina Wombats 14U Softball Team, led by Head Coach Jason Ramey, is ready to hit the field and begin our 7th season of travel tournament competition!

As the FOUNDING TEAM of the Carolina Wombats Softball Organization, this group has built a tradition of competing at a high level every time we step between the lines.

🏆 51 Travel Tournaments
🥇 26 Gold Bracket Championship Game Appearances
🏆 13 Gold Bracket Championships

That means the Wombats have played for a Gold Bracket Championship in more than HALF of every tournament we've entered! 💪🥎

Meet your Fall 2026 Carolina Wombats 14U-Bryson team! 🥎

Our 2031 & 2032 girls are officially moving up to 14U, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead!

This is a strong group that works hard, competes, brings great attitudes, and—most importantly—plays for each other. This fall is all about growth, raising the standard, and getting better every time we step on the field.

We’re fired up for the challenge and ready for a great fall season!

The Carolina Wombats 14U Softball Team, led by Head Coach Jason Ramey, is looking to add one experienced infielder with speed to our current roster of 9 dedicated players.

✅ Seeking 2030 or 2031 Graduate Year Players
✅ Strong Defensive Infielder Preferred
✅ Speed on the Bases a Plus
✅ Competitive Travel Softball Environment
✅ Based in Waxhaw, NC / Indian Land, SC

Our team has built a strong foundation through player development, teamwork, and competitive tournament play. We are looking for the right player to join an established group as we head into our Fall 2026 season.

What a way to finish.

The 2026 Carolina Wombats 12U season wrapped up with a 28-13-1 record and a Gold Bracket Championship. The girls saved their best softball for last, going a perfect 5-0 on championship weekend.

This season was about more than wins and losses—it was about growth, confidence, friendships, overcoming adversity, and learning how to compete as a team. Every player played a part in making this season special, and we couldn’t be more proud of the effort, attitude, and heart they showed all year.

Thank you to our players for trusting the process, and to our families for the endless support along the way.

The Carolina Wombats 14U Softball Team, led by Head Coach Jason Ramey, is looking to add one strong infielder with speed to our roster of 10 players. More importantly than anything, we're looking for the right fit for our close-knit team culture and family atmosphere.

✅ 2030 or 2031 Graduate Year Players

✅ Strong infielder with speed (Left-Handed Hitter a Plus)

✅ Experienced Middle School/High School/Travel Softball player

✅ Positive attitude + team-first mentality
