🏆LAND UNITED PLAYER OF THE MONTH | AUGUST 2026🏆

Some players lead by example. Some lead by creating opportunities for others.

We’re incredibly proud to recognize Sebastian Muriel Garcia as one of our first ever Land United Players of the Month! 💙💛⚽️

Sebastian embodies what we believe a Land United leader should be - a great teammate, a hard worker, a person of character, and someone who sees a need and takes action.

On the field, Sebastian is a team captain who consistently encourages his teammates, respects coaches, referees and opponents, and brings tremendous dedication and effort to every practice and game. But his leadership doesn’t stop at the field.

Sebastian is an A student with a 4.5+ GPA and serves as Treasurer of DECA at Indian Land High School, where he developed a sponsorship strategy to help create opportunities for his fellow students to participate in regional, state and national competitions. He is also an active member of Beta Club, giving his time to serve his community, and was selected to participate in the Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) - an opportunity he embraced to further develop his leadership, teamwork and resilience as a member of the school’s JROTC.

What stands out most about Sebastian isn’t simply what he has accomplished. It’s what he is using his abilities to accomplish for others. He isn’t just preparing himself for his future. He’s helping build a better future for the people coming behind him. And that’s what Land United is about.

We believe soccer is the vehicle. Character is the destination. We believe leadership isn’t about a title. It’s about taking responsibility. And we believe the greatest leaders aren’t the ones who ask, What can I get?” They’re the ones who ask, “What can I do to help?”

Sebastian, thank you for setting the standard for what it means to be a teammate, a student, a servant and a leader. We are proud of the player you are today - and even more excited about the leader you are becoming.

🏆 LAND UNITED PLAYER OF THE MONTH | AUGUST 2026⭐️

Some players make an impact on the field. Some make an impact wherever they go.

We’re incredibly proud to recognize Addi Dickson as one of our first ever Land United Players of the Month! 💙💛⚽️

Addi represents what we believe leadership should look like - not just in the way she plays the game, but in the way she lifts others, leads by example, serves her community, and carries herself every day.

A longtime team captain, Addi is one of the hardest working players in our club and is consistently one of the first to encourage and support her teammates. Our younger players look up to her because she doesn’t simply talk about leadership - she lives it.

And her impact reaches far beyond the soccer field. Addi is a straight A student with a 4.5+ GPA, serves as her sophomore class president, is active in Student Council and FCA, volunteers with elementary students, works with younger children at soccer camps, and represents Land United through our Ambassador Program as our first-ever Leadership Fellow.

She has also embraced opportunities like the Charlotte FC Unified Team, using the game she loves to connect with and positively impact others.

But perhaps the greatest thing we can say about Addi is this:

She makes the people around her better. And that’s what Land United is about.

We believe soccer is the vehicle. Character is the destination. We believe competition builds confidence. Service builds character. And we believe the greatest players aren’t necessarily the ones who stand out the most - they’re the ones who stand up for others.

A huge thank you to Charlotte FC Unified team for opening your doors and creating such a meaningful opportunity for our Land United players and coaches! 💙💛

Seeing so many of our LUFC boys and girls come out this week to participate, connect, compete, and experience the power of Unified soccer was incredibly special.

This is what community, inclusion, and the beautiful game are all about. We’re grateful for the partnership and for the example you’re setting for our players - that soccer has the power to bring people together, create belonging, and make a difference far beyond the field.

FINALISTS! 🏆⚽️🔥

What a weekend for our young combined team of U13/U14 girls! 💪❤️

Team bonding nature hike and dinner before hitting the tournament hard the next day. 

They battled some of the top teams at the CSA DICK’S Sporting Goods Tournament, showing incredible heart, determination, and teamwork — all while competing through some record-breaking heat! ☀️🥵

Coming home as FINALISTS is an incredible accomplishment, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way these girls competed, supported each other, and never gave up.
Congratulations, girls! You earned this one! 👏🏆

⚽️ Our U12 South team had an incredible weekend as they prepare to kick off their fall season!

The girls competed in the Dick’s Sporting Goods Invitational, facing tough competition from teams across Charlotte and Charleston in three action-packed games. They made huge strides throughout the weekend, growing stronger and more confident as a team with every game.

Now, they’re ready to put that hard work into action! 💪🏼⚽️ Their fall campaign officially kicks off this Saturday, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what this group accomplishes together!

More than 100 Land United FC players and parents showed up for our Players Meet & Greet and Parents Meeting - and we couldn’t be more grateful🙏💯

Because what happened wasn’t simply an event.

It was community.

Players met new teammates.
Families connected with other families.
Kids laughed, competed, challenged themselves and created memories.
Parents came together to learn, listen and be part of the journey.

And in the middle of it all was something that matters even more than soccer:

Belonging.

At Land United FC, we believe youth soccer should be about more than developing better players.

It should help young people become better teammates, better leaders, better communicators and better human beings.

It should give families a place where they feel welcomed.

It should create relationships that extend beyond the field.

And it should remind every young person who walks through our doors:

You matter.
Your voice matters.
Your growth matters.
And you are part of something bigger than yourself.

That is the culture we’re continuing to build.

Five years ago, Land United FC started with a vision.

Today, we’re seeing that vision come to life - not because of a logo, a uniform or a soccer field, but because of people who believe in what this can become.
