⏳🇺🇸 Time Capsule Opening- Parking Update!

Join us on Friday, July 3, at 9:00 a.m. as the City of Indian Harbour Beach opens a time capsule that was buried in 1976 as part of America's Bicentennial celebration.

Now, 50 years later and as our nation prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, we'll gather to uncover the memories, artifacts, and history preserved by a previous generation of Indian Harbour Beach residents.

Indian Harbour Beach Fire Department
1116 Pine Tree Drive

🚗 Parking Update:
Parking will not be available on-site.

Attendees are encouraged to park at:
✅ Ascension Lutheran Church
✅ Ocean Breeze Elementary School

Please refer to the parking map below for locations and additional details.

We look forward to sharing this unique piece of our City's history with the community!

At this time we can’t guarantee a medal. We have about 25 more spots until we are at complete capacity of the race. We hope to see you out there.

We have officially SOLD OUT of registrations that include a race medal!

But don't worry—there's still time to join the fun. We are continuing to accept registrations for the Shark in the Park 5K on Saturday, June 20th.

🇺🇸Today, we celebrate the Stars and Stripes, our nation's symbol of freedom and unity. 🇺🇸

Flag Day commemorates June 14, 1777, when the Continental Congress adopted the first official American flag. While the design has evolved over the years as new states joined the Union, the flag's meaning remains unchanged: representing the ideals, sacrifices, and shared values that unite us as Americans.

As we proudly display the red, white, and blue, the City of Indian Harbour Beach encourages residents to take a moment to reflect on the history of our flag and the generations who have served under it.
