We would like to welcome everyone to the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series at Tri-State Raceway. Below you will find the run schedule for Friday. Please make sure your tech cards are submitted and you have visited the D5 Trailer prior to coming to the lanes for your first session tomorrow morning.

We do have a full day of racing scheduled and plan to use all of the daylight we possibly can. Please help us by making the calls promptly and being ready to race. For those still entered in the Spring event, all ladders are posted at the trailer and on our Discord.

***ATTENTION TRI-STATE LODRS RACERS***

After monitoring the forecast for the Earlville area and consulting with a contact at the National Weather Service, we have decided to adjust the schedule for this weekend’s Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Tri-State Raceway.

Friday’s schedule will remain unchanged. We will begin at 8:30 a.m. with two qualifying and time-trial sessions for the September event. Following the second session, we will resume eliminations for the postponed May event and run the September Laris Super Shootouts.

On Saturday, we will begin Round 1 of the September event at 8:30 a.m. and plan to run the event to completion that day. Should we be delayed on Saturday for any reason, we will plan to use Sunday morning, if needed, to finish the event. The full, detailed run schedule is included below.

With the end of the season upon us and divisional and national championships on the line, completing both events is our top priority. Getting started with eliminations on Saturday morning gives us the best opportunity to make that happen.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate this schedule adjustment. We appreciate your continued support of the NHRA West Central Division and the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. We look forward to completing both events and crowning our 2026 champions and JEGS Allstars representatives!

2026 D5 National Open Schedule Update

The National Open scheduled for October 24th at Kearney Raceway Park has been cancelled. KRP will be starting a major track renovation later this month and it will not be complete in time for the National Open. For more information, please visit:

Kearney Raceway Park has officially announced that September 13th will mark the end of their 2026 season, as a new racing surface installation is planned to begin later this month. The National Open, originally scheduled for October 24th, has been cancelled due to the construction.While missing out....
