Feeder program night 10/23:
Tonight our players will get recognized on the track pre-game at Simon Kenton HS. Kickoff is at 7:00. Players who enter the gate with a jersey and an adult will get in free. Parents have to purchase a ticket.

*players please return jerseys to coach Miller’s room, Monday 10/26.

BANQUET INFORMATION:

The banquet for the football program will be held Thursday 11/12/26, from 6:00pm-7:00pm in the middle school cafeteria.
Front Doors will open at 5:30. Food will be provided.

10/19/2026

Equipment turn in day update🚨🚨
Simon Kenton high school is hosting feeder program night this Friday 10/23. Players get in free wearing their jersey and being accompanied by an adult.

That being said, we are asking ALL summit view football players to KEEP their game jersey today. They will turn in the rest of their gear but keep their jersey.

**We are asking all football players to attend the SK game Friday to be recognized on the track during pre-game.**

Players will turn in their jerseys the following Monday 10/26 to my classroom.

10/18/2026

Monday, 10/19 is locker clean out/equipment turn in day. All players need to bring all gear to school tomorrow. All players need to stay after school as we will not accept any gear before or during the school day.

In addition to turning in their gear, they will completely clean out their locker. ****They cannot be dismissed until their locker was checked by a coach.****

8th grade players will be ready for pickup at 3:45 or earlier.
7th grade players will be ready for pickup at 4:05 or earlier.
6th grade players will be ready for pickup at 4:25 or earlier.

This can be a tedious process so please be patient but we will do our best to follow timelines above.

*Information on banquet day/time/location will be posted at a later date.

Link for tickets for tonight’s game vs Turkeyfoot.

We will see everyone around 6:15-6:30. Since there will be the first game occurring during that time, players please meet on the track nearest the gate. Coaches will be standing there.

Friendly reminder this morning is an optional practice at the field, 10-11. Parents are welcome to stay sit in the stands or cars and watch. They will be dismissed right at 11.

10/16/2026

Saturday, 10/17:

We will have an *optional* walkthru practice Saturday morning 10/17 from 10-11 right on the field for the 8th grade team.

-it is optional as we understand there may be prior commitments. If your player cannot make it, they will not be penalized.
-no gear, players just arrive in street clothes and gym shoes or cleats
-the reasoning why we are having this is we want to see them in the morning as the game isn’t till night. We want to also acclimate them for cold temperatures as the temperatures at 10am are projected to be similar to 7:30pm.
-there is NO breakfast. We will simply get on the field for an hour in no gear and get off at 11.
-we are welcoming parents to stay, sit in their cars or the stands and watch.
-players will be dismissed at 11.

Our 7th grade team battled to the very end and fought. We are extremely proud of the young men. They have enhanced our program immensely. Our program is 100% better because of those kids.

Practice update:
There is no practice Friday for 6th and 7th. The 7th players that were asked to be apart of the 8th grade team will report to practice tomorrow. They will be ready for pickup at 4:40.

**an announcement will be made on when equipment turn in is. Please do not bring any gear tomorrow.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR FRIDAY 10/16:
1. There is NO team meal Friday 10/16 after practice. Players will be ready for pick up at 4:50.
2. The fun run is tomorrow. For those who don’t know, kids get colored powder thrown on them and it makes a mess. Players-DO NOT where your jerseys tomorrow.

UPDATED SCHEDULES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK:
🔵Wednesday, 10/14 practice till 5:00.
Team meal 5:05-5:35. Dismiss at 5:40

🔵Thursday, 10/15 8th practice til 4:45. Please be prompt with pick up so coaches can get over to Twenhofel for game.

🚨7th grade Playoff Rd 2 v Beechwood at Twenhofel
All 6th/7th players take bus or car ride home
Arrive at Twenhofel 4:30
Warm ups begin 4:45
Kickoff 5:30

8th grade players are welcome to attend and stand on our sideline in street clothes. We ask they not be a distraction and maintain positive behavior.
