IMS Blue Devils Football kicks off in just 22 days! The first two Skills and Conditioning nights are Tuesday June 23rd and Thursday June 25th. Both practices start at 7:00 pm on the turf here at Stan Skoczen Stadium.

The next step to take to join the team this summer is to register for Fall 2026 IMS Football using FinalForms. Completion of registration is needed to be on the field practicing for any date this summer.

Coach Hoon and the coaching staff wish our graduating 8th graders the best of luck as they transition to the high school this fall! Check out this highlight video of a few future Varsity Blue Devils in action on the football field last season.

Most of you are now aware of the new fundraiser underway for the Independence Football Program. Having the online platform enables us to reach more people quickly. We've also created a page on behalf of the IMS Football Team. Sustaining a top-tier football program requires continuous reinvestment in our student-athletes, facilities, and equipment every single season. To do this, we look to our supporters for financial support. This season we are looking to add a wheeled cart for hauling gear at away games, a cleaning mat for cleats, helmet decals [same as Varsity], scrimmage vests for practices, Indy Football t-shirts, consumables for our Saturday breakfasts, and other items yet to be determined.

Many people are glad to donate and yet are never asked. Businesses you frequent are often looking for opportunities to help the community. Any donation is a good donation, and no donation is too small. Thank you!

The goal for our 2026 IMS Football Program is to provide a complete experience for our players. Spring Football Saturday Mornings are wrapped, and we’ve loved working with this amazing group of kids! It’s been a pleasure getting to know them over the past month. We’ve been asking lately “What do you like about football”? A couple obvious examples of things we REALLY like are great tackling and great blocking. These are skills the team practices every day, starting in the summer. Check out these two highlights from last season showcasing the pride these kids take in executing the basics at a high level. The coaching staff is looking forward to developing these same skills with a new group of players in 2026!
