How’d everyone do with the steps last week+water??

This week we are adding….SLEEP! 😴
Easy right?! However I know tons of us are lacking it! And no this isn’t an excuse to sleep in and skip your workout! 🤪

Getting enough sleep is instrumental for your health!
Sleep benefits include:

Staying at a healthy weight ✅
Reducing stress and improving your mood ✅
Thinking more clearly ✅
Getting sick less ✅
Lowering your risk for serious health issues ✅
And the list goes on!

Adults are recommended to get between 7-9 hours each night. So for the next week I challenge you to log how much sleep you are getting! Let us know how it goes!!

There’s a lot going on right now but let’s continue our challenge anyways! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Our health can’t be put on hold!
So for the next week we are going to add to our habit of drinking water by…
Getting our steps in! Let’s shoot for 10,000 steps a day!

Don’t have a smart watch or something that tracks it for you? No problem! 10K steps is roughly 4.5 miles. 23 times around the walking track at the gym=1 mile.
Let’s get to steppin’!

Who’s up for a challenge?!

We want to start a fun little challenge with our classes, but also want to extend it to all of you! You don’t need to be a member, anyone can participate. We’d love if you tagged someone who you want to do it with you. We will be helping keep our classes accountable but we can all keep each other accountable on this page as well!

Habit-stacking…each week we will add a new habit on top of the last one.

WEEK 1——->
Water intake! Perfect timing since it’s been so dang hot out lately, I’m sure we could all work on our hydration! 😅🫠
Take your body weight and divide it in two that gives you the number of ounces you should be drinking per day.

What are some things you do to help you get your 💦 in for the day?!

P.s. Start today, not tomorrow or Monday!! If you can do it through the weekend, the rest will be a breeze!
