In typical Fish fashion, "last minute" has been my MO the past 3+ years since beginning my overseas baseball career. I haven't been good about posting as of late, but a good snapshot of "last minute" has been the last 5 months. My last minute trips include Egypt before heading home from Europe, Madrid to visit family, Munich for Octoberfest, Amsterdam, Copenhagen to visit friends, Lyon for the US semi-final WWC game against England, Brussels for the TdF where I made it on TV, and Luxembourg. The world is a great place as is, but seeing and knowing people that become family wherever you go make it that much better! @ The Earth

June was an eventful month; Guinness and fancy beers were comsumed, slipstreams were caught riding bikes on the dijks, clogs were sat in, baseball was played, and people were celebrated, yet my mom will certainly still be mad at me for the amount (or lack thereof) of photos taken @ Dublin, Ireland

When I go and play in new countries I really try to immerse myself in the culture wherever I may be. Here in Belgium is no different– sampling the local culture by the day, or pint depending on how you look at it @ Antwerp, Belgium

Despite having played college football and having been hit hard a time or two (being a kicker, I was usually the one doing the hitting of course...), I've never been hit as hard as the Thailand street food food poisoning train! However, it still managed to be one heck of a visa run trip including playing with tigers and elephants as well as getting suits! @ Phuket, Thailand

Bloody ripper! My third Aussie Chrissy was one for the ages! From hours chilling at the beach and getting bowled out too many times too count in backyard cricket, Adelaide for Christmas was all that. I can't thank the brotha and his family enough for the open arms welcome and hospitality @ West Beach

To bring in my 26th year, I went to NZ to check out the unreal hitchhiking culture. In typical fish fashion, all I did was get passed by everyone, honked at a lot, and rained on everywhere. But I did run into brother and see some of what the land of kiwis has to offer @ Mount Maunganui
