The Incline Village Parks & Recreation Department offers community members and visitors, regardless of age, background or social circumstances the opportunity to enjoy well-maintained, beautiful parks, athletic fields & trails. In addition, community members and visitors can experience a wide range of outdoor/indoor activities, classes, events and programs as well as membership participation in a full service Fitness Center with a pool and Tennis Center. The following information applies to all Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) provided websites, ecommerce sites, and IVGID affiliated pages, sites and social media that may be provided through third-parties, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Vimio, etc. IVGID is committed to protecting that privacy and will never share nor sell your personal information and/or email address to a third-party unless we are legally required to do so, with the exception of government agency partners (i.e., Washoe County). The Recreation Center will be closed Sunday, September 13, through Tuesday, September 15, for HVAC project work.

The Recreation Center Front Counter will remain open for all IVGID pass-related transactions and services.

Whether you have an e-bike, or just your legs to power you, the Adult Mountain & E-Biking group is a great way to meet other bikers and explore the amazing trails in our area in a fun and supportive environment. The rides are open to ages 18+ of all levels and a local expert will guide you on the trail. Only 3 more rides for 2026:

September 16 — Sugar Pine Point State Park / Tahoma: Paved trails, smooth and non-technical double and single track. Some rocks. 9.7mi

September 23 — Carpenter Valley / Truckee: Access roads, non-technical singletrack and boardwalks, with an optional Euer Valley detour. 10 miles.

September 30 — Incline Flume / Incline Village: Mostly flat, smooth singletrack with creek crossings and scenic Tahoe terrain. 12 miles.

Preschool Playground resumes at the Incline Village Recreation Center on September 8! We transform the back half of the gym into a fun indoor playground with a bounce house, slides, and all the things that help your littles get their wiggles out.

🛝Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:30 am – 11:00 am | September 8 through mid-May. Pay at the Recreation Center counter and then present your receipt to the Preschool Playground leader at the gym (downstairs).

Lots of exciting projects going on in our community! Last week, we celebrated the completion of the Incline Skate Park expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony; this week the expanded Holman Family Bike Park opened; and next week the Cart Path Replacement Project begins at the Championship Course.

The Holman Family Bike Park is officially OPEN! 🎉🚲
We’re excited to welcome riders back to the newly expanded and improved bike park!
A huge thank you to American Ramp company, Action Sports Construction and 2Crazy Gardeners Landscaping for their outstanding work in completing this project this summer. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Incline Tahoe Foundation, Tahoe Community Foundation, and the many local families who generously donated and helped fund this amazing community asset.

We’d also like to recognize and thank the IVGID Public Works Engineering Team for their hard work, coordination, and dedication throughout the project.

A special thank you to Elko James for sharing all the details about the park and helping us celebrate this exciting addition to our community. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and support!

The park is still under construction with ongoing, minor improvements to be completed. Come check out the new features, sharpen your skills, and enjoy the upgraded space.
We hope you’ll join us for the Ribbon-cutting Ceremony on Friday, September 25 at 4:00pm at the park
