Team Midwest is comprised of two conferences, Great Plains and Great Lakes, with skiers from over 30 schools! The Midwest consists of teams from colleges in the states of Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, and North Dakota. The region is divided into two conferences, the Great Lakes Conference (Ohio, Michigan and Indiana) and th
e Great Plaines Conference (all the rest). The top teams at each conference championship qualify for the Midwest Regional Championships. The top 6 teams at the Regional Championships, qualify to represent the Midwest at the National Championships (Usually 9 teams are eligible after a national wild card simulation). The MCWSA currently has over 30 active teams, and there are always new ones on the way. If you go to a school that has a team and you are interested in joining, contact them on our “Teams” page.
