For the second year in a row, members of the St. Joe Chess Team attended the Vianney Chess Camp!
We couldn't be more proud of how our players represented St. Joe. They demonstrated strong chess skills, good sportsmanship, and a willingness to learn throughout the week. Their hard work paid off—each of our players left camp with either a trophy or a certificate!
It's exciting to see how much this team continues to grow, both as chess players and as young leaders. Congratulations to all of our campers on a great week, and thank you to Vianney for another fantastic experience!

SJAA board has a few openings for board member positions. Free sports for your kids! If selected, along with the duties of your position, attendance at a monthly athletic meeting is required.

🏐 Volleyball Director - manage fall volleyball season by developing schedules and supporting coaches
♜Chess Director - manage winter chess season by coordinating chess master led practices and supporting players during chess tournaments
🌳Fields Managers - general upkeep and maintenance of the Wiles fields including cutting grass and lining fields

ST. JOSEPH BOYS VOLLEYBALL – REGISTRATION OPEN NOW!

We're still looking for boys in 3rd–6th grade to join the growing St. Joseph Boys Volleyball program for the 2026 C*C season.

✅ Season runs from late August through early November
✅ 10-match season
✅ C*C scheduling allows athletes to play both soccer and volleyball during the same season
✅ Great opportunity to learn the game, compete, and have fun with friends

📈 Boys volleyball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. Participation at the youth and high school levels has seen significant growth over the last decade, with more schools and clubs adding boys programs every year. As the sport continues to expand, now is a great time to get involved and build skills that can lead to future opportunities at the high school and collegiate levels.
