“I spend most of my days homeschooling my boys, and in my free time you’ll usually find me reading, studying my Bible, or spending time in nature when I can.
I found Sweat when I needed it most. I was walking through a difficult season in my life and my marriage, and it had been years since I had done something just for me—especially something like this. With a little encouragement from Karissa, I decided to take the leap. My first workout was just days before the challenge started.
There’s so much I love about Sweat, but what stood out right away was how they take the guesswork out of everything. I was intimidated by the idea of joining a gym and not knowing what I was doing, but the clear instruction, structured workouts, and coaches who are always there to help made me feel confident from the start. And the community—everyone is so encouraging and genuinely supportive.
Before Sweat, I did nothing. My “workouts” were chasing my kids or the occasional walk with the dog. I had never been to a gym or taken a class, and I knew nothing about nutrition or the importance of protein. I wouldn’t have known where to start, but Coach Jamie’s guidance completely changed my habits—and I’m so grateful for that.
Now, exercise is such an important part of my life that I can’t imagine going without it again. I started this journey during a really low point, just trying to do something for myself—but it’s given me so much more than that.
As a mom of three young boys, I need to be able to keep up—and now I can. Sweat has helped me grow stronger not just physically, but mentally. Taking care of myself allows me to be more present for them, and I’m so proud that they get to watch their mom get stronger.”
