The Imlay City Dance Team just finished up the program’s first ever National Dance Alliance (NDA) Dance Camp! 🧑‍🩰🪩

For this camp, we decided to unite with our neighbors, the Almont Dance Team. 🧡🖤To be able to bring two neighboring (and often competing) teams together to learn, grow, and bond was simply incredible. We cannot wait to provide both teams with more opportunities to connect!

We trained in pom, hip hop, and jazz, with some kick mixed in. In just two days, each dancer learn 3 entire routines! Two long days filled with memories made, supportive moments shared, and many accomplishments. We could not be more grateful to our NDA instructors, Madelyn and Addie, for putting on an amazing camp for us. 👯

Next, we want to share a few highlights!
The instructors watched carefully throughout camp to recognize dancers to receive special ribbons/ pins. 💙💛

Spirit Ribbon (someone who was positive and uplifting)- Bailey

Technique Ribbon (someone who showcased excellent technique in a style of dance)- Audrina & Claribel

Pin It Forward Pin (someone who worked hard, encouraged others, and never gave up)- Kylie

All American (someone who showcased all of the above in addition to leadership)- Nevaeh

In addition, the dancers from IC and Almont who received the All American Ribbon, had a chance to undergo evaluations. Nevaeh achieved a high enough score to earn a spot on the NDA All American team. 💃🏼🇺🇸 She now has the opportunity to attend special events and parades with NDA in places like Disney World, London, New York City, Hawaii, and more.

We are so proud of all of our dancers! This camp has been such an incredible step for our dance team program and we are extremely grateful to be able to provide this opportunity to Imlay City students. We’re headed for an amazing season & bright future! 💙✨

We are incredibly proud to share the Imlay City Athletic Booster Club 2025-2026 Impact Report.
Thanks to the amazing support of our community, sponsors, and families, we’ve been able to fully fund vital grants across multiple sports—from new volleyball training machines and wrestling mats to multi-sport weight room upgrades and digital video analysis tools.
