🌳 A BIG THANK YOU TO the Imlay City Rotary Club!

We wanted to take a minute to say thank you to the Imlay City Rotary Club for funding the pavilion project at Rotary Park!

As you can see, the pavilion is really starting to take shape, and we're excited to see this space come together and become another place for our community to gather, play and enjoy.

The Imlay City DDA truly appreciates everything Rotary does for our community. From supporting local projects to giving back to organizations and causes throughout town, you guys continue to show what it means to be a community partner.

Projects like this don't happen without organizations willing to step up and invest in Imlay City.

You may have noticed some new signs going up on the dumpster enclosures along Depot Drive.

Just a quick reminder from the Imlay City DDA:

These are NOT City dumpsters.

The DDA owns the dumpster enclosures, but the dumpsters inside them belong to individual downtown businesses. Those businesses pay for their own dumpster service.

When someone uses these dumpsters without permission, that business can end up paying for extra garbage that isn't theirs.

So please don't dump your trash here. You're not helping the City — you're potentially costing a local Imlay City business money.

We're also looking at options to repair and secure the enclosure gates to help prevent illegal dumping in the future.

A big thank you to The Print Shop for making the new signs and to the Imlay City Department of Public Works for getting them installed!

We appreciate everyone's help in keeping our downtown clean and, most importantly, supporting the businesses that call Imlay City home.

The Four County Community Foundation does a lot to support communities like Imlay City, and I think it's worth giving them a shout-out.

They're sponsoring a CE event for financial advisors on October 14th focused on charitable giving, philanthropy and ways professionals can help make a bigger impact in their communities.

I really like seeing organizations and businesses that don't just do business here — they invest here.

That's how small towns get stronger. Businesses, nonprofits, foundations and residents all doing their part.

That's community.
