Hott Wings Upland Hunting We are a Colorado State Licensed Upland Hunting Preserve Park. Our birds species are Ring neck Pheasants, Chukars, and Bobwhite Quail.

What is Upland Hunting? Upland Hunting refers to hunting non-waterfowl game birds with pointing breeds, flushing spaniels and retrievers. Upland game includes many different species, we offer Bobwhite Quail, Chukar and Pheasant. All hunts must be Resereved a head of hunt date. Reservation must be cancled two hours prior to hunt date/time or birds reserved will be expected to be paid for.

Dear La Plata County Republicans,

We really need your help to counter one of the biggest economic attacks ever made on La Plata County. Commissioner Gwen Lachelt is violating the ethical standards of being a commissioner by encouraging La Plata County to join a lawsuit that is being supported by environmental groups that she represents in her private life. The lawsuit will significantly decrease oil and gas tax revenue to the county, and if successful could stop all future drilling in La Plata County and the entire State of Colorado. Ultimately, this will mean more cuts to county services, cuts to revenue for all three school districts, every special district, fire departments and mineral owners.

What we need from you is:

Come to the public meeting on June 27th 10:00am to 12:01pm at the county administration building 1101 E 2nd Ave, and testify against La Plata County getting involved in the lawsuit and ask that Gwen recuse herself for violating the ethical standards of her public office by using it to represent her private interests (we need to pack the room as this was effective in the GCC coal permit process).

If you can't attend the meeting please send letters and emails to all of the county commissioners and the county attorney expressing your concerns and opposition!
