On the home waters.
LaMoyne and J Ann Hyde both grew up in western Wyoming—LaMoyne in Auburn and J Ann in Smoot—making the famed rivers of the area, like the Snake, some of their go-to fishing haunts throughout their lives.
They’ve had the opportunity to fish all over the world, but the float from Pacific Creek to Deadman’s Bar is still one of their favorite places to be. And it’s easy to see why. Even when the fishing slacks off, you’re still floating through arguably one of the prettiest stretches of river in the world.
It’s places like this—and the opportunity to help protect the fisheries that have meant so much to the Hyde Family—that make the Jackson Hole One Fly such a special event for us. Next week, we’ll once again have the chance to support this incredible fishery and the work being done to keep it that way for generations to come.
