The best part about June and July is that after a full day in the shop, we can get our customers’ boats back on the water, lock up at 5, and head for the river ourselves. Since LaMoyne Hyde started building drift boats, it has never been just about creating the best boat on the river. It’s about creating a way for people to spend time together doing what they love.

For generations, families have stepped into a Hyde drift boat and shared experiences that can’t be replicated anywhere else—early mornings on the water, stories told between casts, lessons passed from parent to child, and memories that last a lifetime.

Today, Hyde remains a family company built on those same values. The generations have changed, but the mission hasn’t.

More than just drift boats.

For over 15 years, we’ve been building and fabricating custom components for aluminum jet boats — from oar lock installs to one-off custom fab work. Building our own Power Drifters has given us firsthand experience in what works on the water, and that knowledge has helped us support local jet boat dealers like for years.

Now we’re taking things even further. With the addition of EVA decking systems, we’re bringing a whole new level of comfort, performance, and clean custom styling to every build. Whether it’s a drift boat or a jet boat, we’re always looking for ways to build something better.
