🥎Savage Varsity Softball opened the 2024 fast pitch season with a run-ruled rout of Muldrow on Monday evening in Broken Bow.

Sophomore third baseman Mylee Williams lifted her first career home run over the left field scoreboard to help her team to an eleven run first inning as the Savages dominated the Lady Bulldogs in every aspect of the game en route to a 19-0 district win.

Senior pitchers Maliyah Carney and Emery Noah combined for a perfect outing on the mound, allowing no base runners in five innings of work. Senior Slugger Kennedee Brittian also belted a home run in the game.

The junior varsity team added a 1-0 victory in the nightcap game. The team travels to Stigler on Tuesday for varsity and junior varsity games.

🏈Savage Football is Back!

The annual Black and Gold Scrimmage is scheduled for Friday night, August 16th, at Memorial Stadium. The scrimmage begins at 7:00 P.M. and admission to the stadium is free. However, the team is asking fans to bring donations of body wash and shampoo to the game.

Season passes for reserved seating at home games this season are on sale now from Athletic Director Kraig Sundberg. Season Passes are $50 each.

The Lady Savages remain undefeated after a 12-1 victory over Wright City at the Antlers Festival. Broken Bow will continue with play on the road next week at Caddo Tuesday and Valliant Thursday before their home opener next Friday.

Versatility defines Jaxson McDaniel. He began the season as a 3-point specialist, but has evolved into a rebounder, post player and multi-purpose threat on both offense and defense. Jaxson and his Savages teammates are in Blanchard today to take on Kingfisher in the second round of the 4A Regional Basketball Tournament. Tip-off is at 2:30pm following the Broken Bow Girls game.
