Hope for Hyndman Charter School's Cross Country Team

Last night the cross country team of 2 ran at Windber. It was our first meet of the season. I’m posting because it was a special meet and one we have never had the privilege to experience. This meet was dedicated to Childhood Cancer. We gave our donation and just enjoyed the friendly atmosphere surrounding our event. Since cancer hits close to home for me, I mixed my cancer gold color with some blue. Running is a great way to stay fit but the friendships these boys make at their events are priceless.

It was a cold, wet run but the scenery at Shawnee was gorgeous! This was our last meet for the season. The district meet is next week. Nice run Bruck and Caleb

Today was our first meet of the 2021 XC season. Caleb ran 12:55 for his first race as a 7th grader. Good job!!!

If anyone is interested in running cross country for the Fall 2021 season, please meet at the bus door at 8:30 AM, Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 16 and 17th. You must have your physical. If you plan to run but cannot make either of these practices, please message me or comment.

Cross country practice will begin Monday, August 13 at 9:00 am for all students in grades 7-12. I am only aware of a few interested runners so if you are planning to be a part of the team please let me know. You must have your physical to practice.
