The season is starting, that means our rental posts are too! What is the hold up? get yourself out on track with JRC's affordable track day rental car program!

Our w2w IT-7 racecar is pretty much spoken for, for this whole season, but our novice car needs more drivers/ exposure!

-Driving a RX-8 on track is a super underrated experience, it rewards good driving with good lap times and punishes bad driving with very noticeably decreased lap times, without ending up in the wall on your first or second time on track!

Tons of people want the newest fastest car, only to crash it on the first day out or not be able to afford the good brakes and tires needed to set good lap times and be consistent.
Starting with a fun, nimble, lower horsepower car (w/drivers aids if needed) can make the experience way more enjoyable and rewarding than a person starting with one of these big heavy and way to fast cars.
Fast cars make you think your a good driver while in reality your 8 seconds off pace from a expierenced driver in the same car.. starting low and working up provides the best learning process one can ask for in racing!

Snowmobiling season 2026.
Honestly the conditions this year were probably the best in the last 5 years, cold safe lake, tons of snow, all the trails pretty smooth most of the time!
We even got to go see our buddy Sal ice racing his rx7 for the LG winter carnival
Seeing the weather for the next couple weeks definitely means this season has come to and end..

Well i guess its time for our 2025 season recap post!!
Thanks to everyone who was a part of Team JRCs 2025 season! It was a fun season, with good racing, multiple new rx7 racers going to school, good race vacations, we even joined the rhinebeck car show, added new racecars to the fleet, saw nascar live, built 3 rx7 motors, 2 of which not for me lol, the spitty made its return to autocross, my cousin got his first car and tried drag racing(boo), scott got his first rx7 win, and he finally got his nissan back on track, then to watkins glen weekend exploring around the town and taking a cool boat tour, and finally, JRC rentals more than doubled its rentals from the first year!! 2025 was awesome and we really did a bunch of different things !

Don't forget the 300$ rally car we got just because, why not lolol
Will 2026 be better than 2025? Who knows, its getting harder and harder to beat each year but It keeps happening !!

Edited these up over the weekend!
Its awesome seeing JRC on top baby 👌
2 different championships, for 2 different JRC drivers!
2025 was awesome, NEdiv 🏆 for 38, and NER 🏆 for 16
Can't wait to see what 2026 has in store for us at JRC!

Will pay us out finally on the scca regional contingency program? Last year they F**Ked me and ignored my contingency application even after being a MTSP member for over a year, so I wouldnt be surprised! All they care about is smash miata racers, 🖕to Mazda for that, as we're keeping the OGs alive and they dont even care to pay us the measly 3-500$ or whatever the regional contingency is!!!! 🖕

Soo, What's the latest date you've done a track day in the year??
Well we just took it a month further than we ever have with a track day at the end of November!
Thanks to for a fun day with these 2 new drivers!
It was a Battle of the rx's, tony in his rx7 vs Jake in the JRC rental rx8 !
Both drivers and both cars did awesome, its always a dream of many to get to drive Lime Rock when they first start to get into the sport, and we were able to help these 2 guys see that dream come to life!
Thanks to our new rx7 racer buddy nate for laps in the Porsche 918(?)!!
It was tons of fun doing a hpde day again, as its been maybe 5 years since I've done a event with this club! they're still awesome and great to run with, hopefully we will be doing more events next year with them for sure so check out the dates and our rental availability to get out on Lime Rock!!

Another late post, about 2 weeks ago I think it was, We went up to Lebanon to watch my cousin Bob take his Firebird down the strip for the first time, and he did great! He went in a straight line 😂 , no turns were made, the car is decently quick too, for it being Bobs first car, running low to mid 13s at a little over 100mph is awesome, he can definitely get into some trouble with it lol.
Good job bob! Now we gotta see how the car turns at autocross next year ↔️

Realizing I never made a post for this car and needing to catch up, so here's Spankeys debut with Team JRC, and thanks to EMRA!
*its nickname is for now is Sketchy lol,
Fun to drive yes! but sketchy right now hahaha from finding multiple stripped loose bolts front and rear,, to the hawk rear pads with no bias valve locking up the rear tires sliding into turns, or the super soft suspension that felt less planted than a 60s caddy lol, this car did run great all day long and it was pretty fun to rip around with the 13b!
It has a lot of little quirks to be ironed out, but that's what testing is for! Its speed makes up for its handling and braking sketchyness, it should set decent times once we get her dialed in!
Despite being a little sketchy, Spankey is definitely one of the favorites in the JRC garage.

Awesome end to the 2025 race season!
Good tight racing and good fun!
2025 NeDiv 🏆 is locked in for 38, and Scotty 16 should be the 2025 NER 🏆 we're pretty sure !
Another great IT7 season in the books for JRC, and it was awesome to see Sal and the fresh rebuild doing awesome battling with Scott and Timmy!
2026 is shaping up to be even better, with hopefully even more RX-7s joining in the fun we're hearing!!
